COVID-19 Update – May 19, 2020

Jellystone Park of Estes is open for the 2020 season. There will be limited amenities and services available. Updates will be made as guidelines continue to change.

We have heightened our cleaning and disinfecting procedures to keep you and our employees safe. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting  all picnic tables/spigots/electric pedestals at campsites, and thorough disinfectant procedures of cabin rental units between guests. The Ranger Station will be staffed, and common surfaces cleaned on an hourly basis.  In addition, hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the park.  Our staff will be wearing masks, and when in our Ranger Station, we ask you to do the same.

Here is a breakdown of what is currently happening in each area of the campground:

Golf Carts:

Golf cart rentals will be available.  All golf carts will be cleaned and sanitized before being rented to our guests.

Recreation:

The Good News: The mountainsides are open! You can hike, BBQ/cook-out, enjoy a campfire, star gaze, read, fish, view wildlife, whittle (thats fancy speak for wood carving), and bring your own games (cards, corn hole, etc). Activities will be available to take back to your campsite/cabin. These will include scavenger hunts, ceramic painting, crafts and virtual Candy Bar Bingo!  Mini golf is open and equipment can be picked up at the Ranger Station to ensure it is disinfected properly between use.

Yogi Bear and Boo Boo Bear will parade through the campground on a daily basis so you can wave and take pictures at the appropriate social distance.

Saturday/Sunday Breakfasts:  In an effort to help local business we will have Donut Haus donuts for sale in the Ranger Station Saturday mornings.  Sunday-pre order cinnamon rolls from Cinnamons Bakery for Sunday morning delivery.

The Bad News: Per Larimer County Health Department guidelines, all group gatherings have been suspended through May. Our playgrounds, gaga ball pit, arcade and pavilion are closed until Larimer County changes their guidelines.

Camp Store:

The Camp Store will open on a limited basis and we ask that when entering you wear a mask/face covering. Due to state laws no more than 10 people will be allowed to shop in the store at a time. We appreciate your support and patience!

Pool: Closed until further notice per Larimer County Health Department.

Restroom Buildings & Laundry Room: Open
